just watched The Devil Wears Prada and love it to the bits!
love the casts, Meryl Streep and Anna Hathaway look fabulous there.
especially Meryl Streep, she is the best! her act is flawless!
she stared in julie&julia also and she played an absolutely different character with in devil wears prada and she completely has become two different person!
if it's not because of her beauty, i can't recognise her at all.
i'm not exaggerating okay. there're some actors/actresses that act good too but Meryl Streep is different! she is so charismatic and ah i just can't describe her with words.
i admire her :)
and what i really love is the meaning of this movie.
at first, Andrea (Anna Hathaway) always said that she doesn't have a choice
but in the end, she realised that she always has choices.
and she chose to become a journalist-which is her dream, stay with her boyfriend and leave all the glamourous lifestyle, all the free top designer clothes, bags, shoes and hot metro-sexual guy behind.
i like her decision.
and wondering if i can do that if i'm in her position, but i know i can't ;p
Miranda (Meryl Streep) has said a statement that i very agree with:
"everybody wants to be us"
come on, don't be hypocrite, who doesn't want to be famous, rich, wear branded clothes from top to toe?
but the thing i reckon is, some time it has to stop.
that kind of life is good when you're young.
but when you're old, peace and simple life is the best, don't you think so? well, i do :)
that's why i don't like what Miranda did to keep her job, she is old enough, she should retire and give chances to younger people. poor Nigel :( has to suffer because of her selfishness.
